Our principle

A useful formula begins with an honest question: what does the body actually need at this moment? Not 'what sells well', not 'which ingredient is fashionable'. We start from the physiology of the hormonal transition, then look for the nutrients whose effect is documented — and we dose them to the level the literature actually uses.

It is slower, more expensive to produce, and it rules out certain marketing arguments. We accept that.

Compliant with the EFSA framework

In Europe, what a food supplement is allowed to claim is governed by Regulation (EU) No 432/2012. Only assessed and authorised claims may appear on a product. We stick to it — including when it is frustrating.

Concretely: we may write that vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, or that calcium contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, because those wordings are authorised. We will never write that a product 'cures', 'treats' or 'eliminates' anything.

For plants — sage, red clover, ashwagandha — EFSA has not yet ruled. So we present them for what they are: plants that are traditionally used, never as a treatment.

European manufacturing

Our formulas are produced in European Union laboratories subject to good manufacturing practices. Every batch is identified, traced and controlled before release: identity and content of the actives, absence of contaminants, stability of the product over its shelf life.

Traceability is not a marketing argument: it is the only way to know that what is written on the label is really in the bottle.

Why the liquid format

It is not an aesthetic preference, it is an arithmetic constraint. A useful dose of marine collagen is counted in grams, not milligrams: 10,000 mg a day is the equivalent of twenty capsules. No one takes twenty capsules a day, every day, for three months.

The liquid shot solves the problem: it allows genuinely documented doses in 25 ml, and it removes the disintegration step of a capsule — the actives are already in solution by the time they reach the gut.

No synthetic hormones

Nutremys does not offer an alternative to hormone therapy for menopause, and does not seek to be one. MHT is a medical treatment: it is discussed with a doctor, and for many women it remains the most effective option.

Our approach is nutritional. It draws on vitamins and minerals with authorised effects, on proteins and amino acids, and on a Balance Blend of plants traditionally used during this period. It can accompany MHT just as it can accompany a choice not to take it — that choice is yours, with your doctor.

Our commitments, plainly
