Role, benefits & use

All about Biotin · Vitamin B7

Biotin, also called vitamin B7 or vitamin B8, is a water-soluble vitamin of the B group. It is undoubtedly the most sought-after vitamin in "hair and nails" cures: it is involved in keratinisation, i.e. the production of the keratin that makes up our skin appendages. The authorised health claims confirm that it contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin, as well as to normal energy metabolism and the normal function of the nervous system. People often refer to a "biotin deficiency" associated with dull or brittle hair; a sufficient intake is therefore part of beauty reflexes. Biotin works in synergy with zinc, selenium and vitamin C, all involved in the health of the skin and skin appendages. In our formulas, biotin complements marine collagen and hyaluronic acid for a complete beauty routine, from within, adapted to women aged 40 and over.
